When should you move to the UK during your training process?
If you are a nurse from outside of the UK, read this blog post before making your move.
Choose IELTS Medical and we help you through your journey of becoming a registered UK nurse. We know it is not an easy process. Therefore, we are here to hold your hands and help you through the exams you have to pass. We not only offer training for your exams. You can ask for our books, online learning material, exam booking and more. Watching our Youtube videos and reading our blog posts allow you to have a deep understanding of everything you have to know about becoming a registered UK nurse.
We understand that you might be located outside of the UK at the moment. That is why we offer online courses that you can easily do from your home country. If you are planning to move to the UK, it might be a good decision to do your IELTS or OET training online from home. Due to the high living cost of the UK, it might be less stressful to start your exam preparation and examination before moving.
Once you finish your online courses, we recommend taking your practical training here, in our London based IELTS Medical training centre. Our training centre is very well-equipped and our Educators are perfectly prepared to make sure you get the highest quality of training. That is why our learners' exam passing rate is immense. It is your choice to do your CBT training online or in person. However, the OSCE course is most effective when taken in-person training at our Central London learning centre.
To sum up, we recommend starting your training before you move to the UK. This way, you only need to do the practical courses in the UK and once you pass your exams, you can start working straight away. If you are unsure about how to find a job after finishing your exams, IELTS Medical can help you connect with agencies or hospitals to shorten your application period.
